Michaela’s career began with training elephants and later with marine mammals. With 18 years’ experience in the zoo/aquarium industry she decided to utilize her skills in an area she loved and could affect the most change, offering in-home dog training and working with hospitals and shelters and then with several boarding, training and daycare facilities. She trains and competes in dock diving, agility, rally, barn hunt and canine disc with her 2 Border Collies and continually strives to increase her own education in the field of dog training through seminars, workshops and online classes. She feels we can never stop learning how to be better companions and caregivers for our most precious partners, our dogs. Michaela truly enjoys helping people connect with their dogs through fun and games and keeping things positive and enjoyable for both ends of the leash.
